strength wise, the bike would be fine. height wise, you'd be okay but you'd probably want a 400 mm seatpost on a bike like the Preston, if you want full leg extension for the uphill. one of their employees is like 6' 4" and he rides all the larges.

kinda depends on where I'm shipping it to! I've got this bike on ebay right now so look it up there if you want to win it.

I have the hanger, it just wasn't in the picture. I did run it single speed with a tensioner.

no worries. if you're doing really long climbs, you'll probably wanna go double ring.

I've done like four hour epic rides where I've ridden up and down three mountains. To me, that's what this bike is all about. If you aren't riding down some hills, then I wouldn't do it, but if you like to go up gnarly stuff and down gnarly stuff, this is it. With my old Preston, I rode lift assisted DH, Moab, Virgin UT, I mean, it jumps pretty good, pedals better than average and fills like bigger travel than it is on the way down. I wouldn't be selling it but I made Transitions Grassroots team and so I want to get a new one just because I can. Funny though, i don't think I would change anything. I'm not sure on the weight. I don't have a scale. But that fork and shock are ultra light. It's probably in the low 30s.

It climbs really well. Especially with the DHX Propedal. With that turned on, it pretty much doesn't bob at all. I have to ride up everything I ride down, so...

That's pretty much what I use it for. I think you'd probably be better off on the medium, though, just based on Transition's recommendations.

it's in Hyde Park at my parents. I live in Arizona now, but my little bro still lives there and rides and knows a few spots. He's 23.

they only make one size, it's a 16" seat tube, or 14" center to center.
